Vaccines / Injections

Flu

£20

For those aged between 2 and 65.

If you are not eligible for a free vaccination we can still provide you with the same level of protection at an affordable price.

Chickenpox

£55

For adults and children over 12 months old.  Two doses of the vaccine given at least 4 weeks apart provides 98% protection in children and 75% protection in adults.  If infection does occur following vaccination, it is much milder and of a shorter duration.

To prevent infection post exposure the first dose must be given within 3 days, or within 5 days to reduce the severity of infection.

Shingles

For adults over 50.  One dose has been shown to reduces the risk of shingles by up to 51% and reduce the risk of post herpetic neuralgia (long lasting nerve pain) by up to 67%.

Meningitis B

£105

 For children from 12 months and adults up to 50 years old.  The vaccine is 88% effective against UK strains when the full course has been administered.

Children 12 - 23 months old require 3 doses.  Second dose at 2 months and third dose at 14 months.

Adults and children over 2 years old require 2 doses at least 1 month apart.

HPV

£155

Gardasil 9 provides immunity to 9 strains of HPV, and can be given to both males and females from the ages of 9 to 26.  The full course must be completed within 12 months.

Females aged 9 to 14, require two doses at least 5 months apart.

Females aged 15 to 26, require three doses.  The second dose at 2 months and the third dose at 6 months.

Males aged 9 to 26, require three doses.  The second dose at 2 months and the third dose at 6 months.

MMR

£20

The MMR vaccine can be given to adults and children over 12 months.  Two doses of the vaccine given at least 4 weeks apart provides 99% protection against Mumps, Measles and Rubella.

Hay fever (severe)

£45

To help alleviate severe symptoms of hay fever for up to 12 weeks, a steroid injection can be administered into the buttock (gluteal) muscle of adults over the age of 18.

Hydroxocobalamin (Vitamin B12)

£25

Vitamin B12 is an essential compound that we get from animal based foods. It’s essential to maintain the normal functioning of the brain, nervous system and producing red blood cells.  Lower levels of B12 can lead the body to express symptoms of tiredness, fatigue, malaise, poor memory and reduced mental function.

One injection given every 2 or 3 months is usually recommended.
